Meet the Clergy

Our clergy play a crucial role in guiding and supporting our community. They dedicate themselves to spiritual guidance, offering wisdom, compassion, and pastoral care to those they serve. They lead our worship services, provide counseling, and act as a source of comfort and guidance during life's challenges. Through their knowledge, empathy, and commitment, our clergy members serve as pillars of strength, fostering spiritual growth and connection within our congregation.

Priest Assistant / Youth and Family Ministry

The Rev. Fr. Wesny "Wes" Dubic

Fr. Wes was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. As a cradle Episcopalian, he loves his Anglican roots. In 2001, his family emigrated to the United States, settling in Lakeland, Florida. After graduating from high school, they moved to Orlando, FL, where he earned his Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.S.) degree at Valencia College. Driven by his passion for helping others, he became an EMT/firefighter for the State of Florida. In 2013, he began working for one of the largest hemodialysis companies in the United States. Fr. Wes loves serving God’s people, and as a result, he was involved in several ministries at his parish, the Cathedral Church of Saint Luke in Orlando. He has served as an Acolyte Coordinator, Episcopal Youth Community (EYC) leader, and Stephen Ministry member. Despite his church responsibilities, he also dedicated time to serve on the board of the Christian Service Center for several years and volunteered weekly at a ministry called Compassion Corner. Both of these ministries focus on combating homelessness in the greater Orlando area. In 2007, Fr. Wes embarked on his first missionary trip to the Diocese of Honduras. Extending God’s love to the people of Honduras made a tremendous impact on his life. After several years of missionary work at a group home for girls called Our Little Roses, Fr. Wes felt called to extend his ministry throughout Honduras. In 2012, he joined the Central Florida Honduras Commission, where he now serves as Chairman. Fr. Wes always felt a calling to ordained ministry, but he kept running away from it because he felt unworthy. In 2019, God taught him the lesson of always trusting Him, and he finally entered the discernment process later that year. In November 2024, he was ordained to the transitional Diaconate while in seminary, and he graduated with his Master of Divinity from Nashotah House Theological Seminary on May 22, 2025. He was ordained to the priesthood at The Cathedral Church of St. Luke in Orlando on June 8, 2025.

Director of Music

Quinn Moss

Quinn Moss, a native of Ormond Beach, enjoys sharing his love of music with others and uplifting people through song in worship. A classically trained pianist, Quinn earned his Bachelor of Music degree from Stetson University, where he also studied organ with Dr. Boyd Jones. He then went on to study at Georgia Southern University, where he earned his Master of Music degree. From there, he went to experience big city life in Washington, D. C. as a church music director, organist, piano accompanist, and piano instructor. After living there for four years, he decided to move back to his home state. He is excited to be back in his hometown, to grow the music program at St. James, and to build new relationships in the parish.

Meet the Vestry

Our Vestry is a group of elected lay leaders who work with the rector or priest to manage the affairs of the church. They are responsible for the financial management of the church, as well as the maintenance of the church building and grounds. The vestry also plays a role in decision-making for the church, including the hiring of staff and the development of programs and ministries.
